Sports: Why?

The Vanderbilt Surgical Outcomes Center for Kids (SOCKs) is striving to develop, enable, and enhance the clinical outcomes research agenda amongst Pediatric Surgical Subspecialties and collaborators.

One of the ways they are carrying out this mission is through research…

SOCKS is now conducting a study on why parents encourage certain sporting activities over others.

The purpose of this study is to determine why parents encourage their children to participate in selected sports, as well as the primary influences on parents underscoring the sporting choices for their children.
