Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt is one of the nation’s leading children’s hospitals. They treat and help prevent all health issues ranging from colds and broken bones to heart disease and cancer. CPF is proud to be affiliated with MCJCH at Vanderbilt and appreciates the uses of their educational resources for community outreach.
TN Disability Coalition: Family Voices
The Tennessee Disability Coalition is an alliance of organizations and individuals joined to promote the full and equal participation of people with disabilities in all aspects of life. CPF has enojyed working closely with their new Parent to Parent program, linked to their Family Voices organization.
Tennessee Medical Association
The Tennessee Medical Association is the state’s largest professional association for physicians. We improve the health of Tennessee by bringing all physicians together in efforts to continually improve effectiveness of physician care and ensure proper policy to serve the best interests of patients and the profession. CPF enjoys several agreements with TMA and partnering to host educational events.

Cumberland Pediatric Foundation staff serve on the Primary Care committee of Alignment Nashville, a nonprofit organization that aligns community organizations to support Nashville’s youth through public school success and children’s health. CPF actively participates in Alignment Nashville’s Annual Children’s Health Summit, back-to-school immunization efforts and the development of the community research guide.
Cervical Cancer Free Tennessee (CCFTN)

Cervical Cancer Free Tennessee is a statewide initiative focused on eradicating cervical cancer in the state of Tennessee by 2040. This initiative is spearheaded by the Tennessee Department of Health and includes educators, practitioners, researchers, partners and advocates across the state. The three main goals of the initiative are to educate residents on the realities of cervical cancer, encourage women’s health exams and increase vaccine uptake in children between the ages of 11 and 13.
TNAAP: Pediatric Health Improvement Initiative in Tennessee (PHiiT)
An initiative of the American Academy of Pediatrics Tennessee Chapter, PHiiT is a state-wide collaborative that includes partners dedicated to reducing pediatric health concerns. Quality improvement projects address issues that have high treatment costs, are in-line with State and Federal priorities, are consistent problems for providers or are hard for families to address. Past projects have focused on breast-feeding education and smoking cessation. Currently, plans are being developed for a project to address asthma.
Surgical Outcomes Center for Kids (SOCKs)

SOCKs is a Vanderbilt University School of Medicine program dedicated to pediatric surgical research and outcomes for kids post-surgery. Beginning in 2015, SOCKs is developing a Community Advisory Board consisting of families who can provide qualitative feedback on their experiences with surgical intervention at the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt. CPF is working with the SOCKs team to recruit families for the Community Advisory Board and facilitate its work moving forward.

Partners in Pediatrics is a Pediatric Physician Hospital Organization located in Knoxville, Tennessee with approximately 326 pediatric and pediatric specialty providers covering middle east Tennessee.
Partners provides credentialing and managed care contracting services for its physician members along with East Tennessee Children’s Hospital, a free standing private not-for-profit pediatric hospital; East Tennessee Children’s Home Care, a pediatric home health agency and Children’s West Surgery Center, a for-profit pediatric ambulatory surgery center.
